Food Site

The Three Rivers Woman’s Club is continuing and expanding a project of warmth this winter. The Socks for the Sole campaign strives to collect and distribute either new or gently used socks to everyone who needs them that comes into the Three Rivers Food Site. While working at the Food Site, TRWC Member Waneta Truckey saw a great need in the community for socks, so she reached out to club members and the donations started pouring in. In an effort to continue this project Waneta and another TRWC Member Margaret Sykes created the goal of collecting and distributing 2000 pairs of socks to those in need.
