Afghan Ladies

Everyone is welcome! Join the fun to knit, crochet or sew afghans together for residents of the Domestic Assault Shelter or KeyStone Place homeless shelter. These nimble-fingered ladies also make hats, mittens and scarves, which are donated to keep little hands and heads warm during the winter.

The club has donated more than 1000 afghans to the domestic assault shelter so far!! Please note our new addition, Bennett. Bennett is the church cat that helps with many projects. He can also be seen helping with our History Committee’s archival work.

Meetings are on the first Thursday of the month at 10 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 320 N. Main St. Donations of 4-ply yarn are always needed. Questions can be directed to Nancy Gibbs
