Living the
Volunteer Spirit
TRWC clubs and clubwomen are the fabric that bind not only the Federation, but the communities in which they live and work.
By “Living the Volunteer Spirit,” GFWC clubwomen transform lives each day, not simply with monetary donations, but with hands-on tangible projects that provide immediate impact.
With a grassroots approach that often thinks locally but impacts globally, GFWC, its clubs and members remain committed to serving as a force for global good, as it has done since its formation 130 years ago.
With nearly 100,000 members in affiliated clubs in every state, the District of Columbia, and more than a dozen countries, GFWC members work in their own communities to support the arts, preserve natural resources, advance education, promote healthy lifestyles, encourage civic involvement, and work toward world peace and understanding.
Mission Statement
The Three Rivers Woman’s Club empowers women as we grow and support our community through volunteerism.
Preserving 130 Years of History
In 2019 a group of women from the Three Rivers Woman’s Club realized that we would be celebrating 130 years as an organization in November 2021. A history committee was formed and they soon realized this was a much larger job than anyone realized. It would take a lot more work than just planning an Anniversary Party.
PIES FOR SCHOLARSHIPS
For well over 50 years, the ladies of the Three Rivers Woman’s Club have been raising money for the club by selling slices of pie during the Three Rivers Water Festival every year (except 2020) in June. All the monies raised support our wonderful Scholars in their endeavors at school for their entire school career. Stay up to date on the upcoming Pie Sale on Our Facebook Page, @trwomansclub
